The new recreational marina in Tangier required a refueling station capable of servicing large vessels, including superyachts with a displacement of up to 500 tons. MSI installed a floating dock 4 meters wide and 1.5 meters deep, providing the strength and stability necessary for this type of operation.
As a notable technical solution, an existing breakwater was repurposed to anchor shock-absorbing struts that keep the dock parallel to it and absorb forces in both directions. The result is an innovative, efficient, and cost-effective solution for the marina’s operation.
