Port and Offshore Solutions

At Marina System Ibérica (MSI), we develop, manufacture, and supply floating solutions tailored to the specific conditions of each project. We work in port environments, marinas, the fishing industry, and offshore projects, providing reliable, durable, and functional solutions.

Each solution is tailored to the environment, intended use, and maintenance requirements of each facility.

Port and Offshore Solutions
Effective protection in semi-exposed waters

Floating breakwaters

Floating breakwaters are used to protect semi-exposed bodies of water, both in port and natural environments, where waves are generated primarily by wind or maritime traffic, rather than by direct open-sea swells.

Concrete Floating Docks

Floating concrete pontoons are used for mooring boats in sheltered or semi-sheltered harbors, offering greater stability and structural strength compared to lighter solutions.

Marine Buoys

Marine buoys are used to mark navigation channels, port entrances, maneuvering zones, and hazardous areas, ensuring safe navigation both day and night.

Precise position control of floating structures

Pile-supported

Pile-guided mooring is a mooring system for pontoons and other floating structures based on piles, pipes, or profiles driven into the seabed that act as vertical guides. Using clamps attached to the floating structure, the system allows for vertical movement associated with tides or water level fluctuations, while limiting horizontal displacement.

Floating platforms for offshore operations

Offshore Platforms

Offshore platforms are designed to provide logistical and operational support to facilities located far from the coast, particularly in the open-sea aquaculture sector.

Elastic Mooring System

Elastic mooring systems are used to secure floating structures such as jetties or breakwaters, replacing the traditional system based on chains and catenaries. Unlike these systems, elastic mooring works by using a straight mooring line consisting of an elastic element and a rope, allowing it to absorb movements caused by waves and changes in water level in a controlled manner.

Shock Absorber Cranks

Damping arms are used to secure floating structures parallel to piers or breakwaters, replacing traditional systems with rigid mooring arms. This system allows for vertical movement of the floating structure in response to changes in water level, while also incorporating elastic behavior that dampens both compressive and tensile forces.
