The Port Authority of Tarragona turned to MSI to protect the pilot basin from the waves caused by the Mestral winds. The project involved the installation of a 3-meter-wide T300 floating breakwater, designed to ensure a sheltered and safe area for operations. The project replaces the original installation completed in 1996, which had performed optimally for years.
