Port Leucate

Breakwater pier at the Quai d’Honneur

The Port Leucate marina needed to protect a new recreational basin from the waves caused by the Tramontana wind, while ensuring stable, high-quality moorings at the Quai d’Honneur. MSI installed a 4-meter-wide floating breakwater that also serves as a mooring dock on its sheltered side. The solution incorporates a concrete module with a central wooden deck that houses the port’s facilities, supported by piles and reinforced with rings designed to absorb wave energy. The result is a safe, functional infrastructure ready to meet the port’s current and future needs.
